I spent twenty years on the other side of this.
I am Chad Rauch, and I run CR Dynamics out of Geneva. Before this I spent twenty years running production and operations, in packaging, electronics, industrial equipment and distribution. Sites from a twenty one person team with five product lines up to a hundred plus people, and a twenty six acre distribution operation.
Which means I have been the person on the receiving end of a consultant's report. Some of those were useful. Most described what I already knew, in language I could not take to anybody, with no number attached to anything.
That is the whole reason this business is shaped the way it is.

Why the numbers carry labels
If you have ever been handed an improvement plan with a savings figure on it and no way to check where that figure came from, you know why this matters.
Every number in a CR Dynamics report says whether it was measured from your records, observed during the visit, or estimated from experience. You can discount the estimates. That is the point of labeling them. A report you can argue with is worth more than a report you have to take on faith.

CR Dynamics is based in Geneva and most of the work happens within an easy drive of it, across the Fox Valley and the wider Chicago area. I am around the chambers, and a fair bit of what I do starts with somebody I met at a breakfast rather than with a form on a website.
